Our house in the middle of our street....

I had a very nice Mother's day and I hope everyone else did too. When Max asked me to pick out what I wanted for mother's day I told him that what I really wanted was to paint our ugly white walls. For a second I felt like we were living in and insane asylum haha. So I went to Home Depot and picked out some colors that I really liked...a moss green and a sandy brown. I wanted something natural that had a country Tuscan feel. We picked up the paint on Sunday and started to paint the kitchen first. We got it done in a few hours and the color came out better than I had imagined. Then since I didn't have to babysit on Tuesday we started on the living room. So we did two rooms in two days and Max did all of the painting I just helped with the taping and plastic covering. Today we went to ross to and picked up some decorations and now our house actually looks like a HOME! There's still a lot of little spaces and things that we need to change but little by little we will get it done. We are a little stuck on what else we should do but look at the pictures and if anyone has a good idea let me know. New couches and the backyard are our goals for next year. I am truly happy with my gift!

Also Max started his new job at Banner Baywood Hospital. He will be working in the E.R. dept admitting patients. Right now he is part time but he will soon be working full time. We thank God that he answered our prayers and sent us this amazing opportunity. Max will be working 12 hr. shifts only 2 days but he can work overtime if he wants. He will have more time to spend with me and the kids and that is a blessing its self. I have to thank my dad cause he really came through for us in our time of need he helped find Max this job. Thank you to everyone who sent us good vibes and prayers.
